Abstract

|
|
Spot urines of 491 industrial workers in welding, glass, foundry and stainless steel factories were subjected to fluoride concentration measurement:
@EN 1. Average level of urinary fluoride concentration was 0.92¡¾0.67mg/l, There was a statistically significant difference between man and woman workers(1.04¡¾0.71 and 0.92¡¾0.67mg/1, respectively).
2. There was no close relationship between working duration and level of urinary fluoride concentration.
3. Workers in glass factories showed the highest urinary fluoride concentration 15¡¾1.15 mg/1) followed by foundry workers (1.10¡¾0.46 mg/1), stainless steel workers(0.91¡¾0.37mg/1) and welding workers(0.80¡¾0.37mg/1).
